Can you briefly explain the presets?

Up to 256 positions can be stored per camera. Recall any preset from the joystick or keyboard controller and the camera slews at up to 100°/s.
Installation

How do you connect the camera and the joystick together?

A single RS-485 run links controller to camera. The protocol and baud rate self-adapt (PELCO-P/D, 2400–19200 bps).
Network

Is the Ethernet connection with an IP address?

Yes — the Cam series streams H.264 over HTTP, RTSP, TCP, UDP and ONVIF, with up to 10 simultaneous live views.
Network

Is there live video stream while away from the boat?

Yes. Dual streaming lets you watch remotely while the helm station displays the full-resolution feed.
Compatibility

Is this camera compatible with my devices on board?

Universal adaptors connect to any screen with F-Type, BNC, RCA or HDMI (Cam Bright).
Modes

What is MOB and Docking mode?

MOB tunes the thermal image to show more detail of a person in the water; Docking does the same for obstacles near the hull.
Performance

What is the camera efficiency in thick fog, capturing logs, buoys, etc.?

Thermal imaging detects temperature difference, not light — logs, buoys and vessels read clearly through fog where optics fail.
Performance

What is the tracking feature?

Optional tracking reads NMEA 0183 data strings from radar and slews the camera automatically to actively follow the target.
Installation

What is the voltage for the joystick and for the camera?

Both run DC 10.8–32V with auto power-off on low voltage to protect the battery bank.
